Write Night events include pop-up writing and research consultations, planned break activities, and plentiful coffee and food.

Dissertation Boot Camps help PhD Candidates make fast, efficient progress on dissertation writing, providing them with tools and resources to create positive writing habits.

Community Partnerships

The Writing Place is partnering with three groups to provide services beyond the Evanston and Chicago Campus: 1. The Northwestern Prison Education Program, to provide writing tutoring services to Northwestern students in Stateville and Logan Correctional Centers. 2. Evanston Township High School, to help the school develop their writing center and peer feedback services 3. Women Initiating New Directions, to serve as feedback coaches to women taking writing workshops in Cook County Jail and transition homes
