Choosing the Best Writing Place Location

· SPS undergraduate degree students, post-baccalaureate certificate students, and professional development students, and OLLI students may book appointments to meet with undergraduate student writing consultants at the Main Library Writing Place location. Whether you are just getting started on an assignment or just need a second set of eyes on a final draft, consultants will engage you in conversation and provide guidance on any type or aspect of your writing in one-on-one writing consultations.

All Writing Place appointments are synchronous. We do not offer asynchronous feedback via email.

At the Main Library Writing Place, undergraduate peer consultants will engage you in conversation and provide guidance on any type or aspect of your writing, at any stage of the Writing Process—whether you are just getting started on an assignment or need a second set of eyes on a final draft.

At the Graduate Writing Place Graduate Writing Fellows are available to review a variety of writing, including papers for coursework; conference papers and presentations; journal articles and manuscripts for publication; dissertation proposals and chapters; and materials pertaining to the academic and non-academic job markets.
