Consultant – Eva Herscowitz

Hi! I’m Eva. I’m a third-year student studying American Studies and journalism. Outside of life at Northwestern, I like drinking tea on my porch, staring into space, and rating the dogs that populate Evanston’s various parks. I’m a writing tutor, so I’m obliged to say I love writing, but I genuinely do—and I hope students leave the Writing Place similarly excited about the power of language. I’m convinced, also, that the “natural-born writer” is a myth. Writing is a learned skill, and I’m a big believer in peer tutoring. I love learning with and from student-writers, and look forward to more conversations about creative, effective, and impactful communication.
