Hi! I’m Gianna, a fourth-year studying Environmental Engineering from Palo Alto, CA. Despite my major, I love to read and write and was the editor of my high school newspaper. One of my favorite parts of that experience was collaborating with my peers to strengthen and refine their writing, which is a big reason why I wanted to join The Writing Place. I also love to hike, explore Chicago, cook/bake, and sew. On campus, I’m involved in research and am a member of the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Society (EnvEUS). I’m excited to work with all students, especially other STEM majors who are out of their comfort zone and are looking for some extra support!
