Fellow – Erin Anderson

I’m Erin Anderson, a Psychology PhD student examining what infants know in the first months of life and how they learn so much more so quickly. Being a Graduate Writing Fellow has taught me how to quickly map out the broad arguments in a paper and how they connect (or don’t) to the specific pieces of evidence presented. By regularly practicing this skill with writers from all areas of the university, even ones I’m not familiar with, I’ve also found myself applying it to talks and papers by my colleagues and myself. Because of this, I believe this fellowship has made me a better writer, and also a better collaborator.
