Heather Grimm is a PhD Candidate in the Interdisciplinary PhD in Theatre and Drama (IPTD) here at Northwestern. While her dissertation applies methods and theories from Theatre and Performance Studies to contemporary music performance, she has experience with a wide range of disciplines all across campus. She can use consultations to help writers at any stage of the process and for any audience—whether it’s a professor, a hiring committee, or readers outside academia. The moments of discovery when a writer’s implicit ideas become explicit are Heather’s favorite part of helping fellow graduate students with their writing.
