Fellow – Sarah Lingo

My name is Sarah K. Lingo, and I am a PhD candidate in Rhetoric and Public Culture. My research interests include public memory, digital rhetoric, and media studies. I am currently working on my dissertation, which examines the use of algorithms in memorialization. I have been working in writing centers on and off for eight years, first discovering a passion for writing center work as an undergraduate at the University of Maine. Now at the Graduate Writing Place, my third writing center, I enjoy working with other graduate students, especially from disciplines other than my own. I have come to view writing center work as the ultimate collaborative enterprise.
